Hello! As you know, I am studying Youth and Adult Correctional Intervention. I made a glossary of 20 important words related to this field of study because it could be important for others that would like to study in this field or for additional vocabulary. The reason why I chose those words it's because since I am a francophone, it helped me to understand the meaning of those English words. There is a list of 20 word people use in this field: agent A person or thing that acts or has the power to act. correctionnal officer An officer responsible for the custody, safety, security, and supervision of inmates in a prison or any other correctionnal facility. correctionnal plan An analysis of a prisoner's social and psychological shortcomings - the things driving his anti-social behaviour - and a list of the "intervention" programs that the prisoner must participate in, in order to be eligible for release. delinquency Failure to do what law or duty requires.
